COVID-19 Update
To all Lawson’s clients and prospective clients:
Covid-19 means that the way we do things will have to change for the forseeable future. Lawson’s will adhere to the safety protocols set out by the Tourism Business Council of South Africa while operating in South Africa and neighbouring countries; or whatever protocols are required by the country in which we are operating. We ask that all guides and guests please comply with the protocols stipulated before (we will advise you during the booking process) and during your tour. This includes any rules and regulations imposed by the individual accommodation establishments we use.
These include but may not be limited to:
*No greeting by hand please.
*Avoid touching your face, and especially nose, mouth and eyes.
*Masks to be worn at all times unless otherwise advised by the guide in situations where it’s allowable to not wear a mask. This is at the discretion of your guide.
*Regular washing and sanitising of hands. This is paramount!
*Sticking to a designated seat in the vehicle for the duration of the tour.
*Maintenance of social distancing as much as is possible.
*Guides will sanitise vehicles on a regular basis.
*Guides will have sanitiser available for use in the vehicle at all times.
*Regular temperature screening. Please cooperate & allow your temperature to be taken by guides, lodge / hotel staff etc.
*Alert your guide immediately to any symptoms that may develop during your tour.
